You can start your classes immediately after purchase. There are no scheduled times, no Zoom sessions, and no waiting. Lieb School classes are fully on-demand, so you can log in and complete them anytime, at your own pace.
2. How do I access my course after purchasing?
Log in at
liebschool.digitalchalk.com using the email you used at checkout. On your dashboard, click “My Courses” to start. You can watch classes anytime, 24/7.
3. How long do I have to complete my course?
You have 6 months from the date of purchase to complete each class. After that, access will expire and you’ll need to repurchase if you want to finish.
4. What devices and browsers are supported?
Courses work on mobile, tablets, iPads, laptops, and desktops with updated browsers. Minimum requirements:
• Windows 7, Mac OS X 10.7, iOS 6, or Android 4
• Resolution: 1024x768 or higher
• High-speed internet
Supported browsers: current and previous versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer 9+
5. How do I navigate a course once I'm logged in?
Go to “Current Classes” on your dashboard and click your course title. If you haven’t started, click the blue “Start” button. Courses must be completed in element order. As you finish each section, a blue checkbox will appear. Use “Continue Course” to resume where you left off.
6. I can’t find the Acknowledgement screen or progress isn’t saving. What should I do?
Scroll down and click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the Acknowledgement screen. If it still doesn’t register, refresh your browser or switch devices.
7. What if I walk away from a video or pause for too long?
You may be timed out and required to retake that section. To avoid issues, pause the video, close the player, and log out before stepping away.
8. How do I safely pause and sign out without losing progress?
Click the pause icon at the bottom left of the video. Then click your name in the top right corner and select “Sign Out.” Your progress saves automatically.
9. Why won’t my course video play or continue?
Make sure your browser is updated and you have a full internet connection. Clear your cache or try a different browser if issues persist. Still stuck? Contact support.
10. What if I missed a password checkpoint during a video?
You’ll need to rewatch that section to receive credit. Password checkpoints are required by NYS and confirm you're actively participating.
11. What password should I enter at a checkpoint?
Use the exact same password you use to log in to Lieb School. If it's not accepted, manually clear the field, retype the password, or try an incognito window.
12. How much time do I have to enter a checkpoint password?
You have 2 minutes to enter the password after the prompt appears. If time runs out, you'll need to restart that section.
13. Do I get time credit for quizzes?
Yes, time spent on quizzes counts toward your CE hours.
14. Are there quizzes? Do I have to pass them?
Yes. All classes include multiple-choice quizzes. You must complete and pass them to get credit. Study guides are provided.
15. Can I retake a quiz if I fail?
Yes. You can retake each quiz as many times as needed until you pass. Use the study guide provided in the handouts section to prepare.
16. How do I review my quiz answers?
After submitting, go to your Gradebook or click the quiz title from the course page to view your answers and correct responses.
17. What resources help me pass the quizzes?
Each course includes downloadable Study Guides and Key Takeaways that highlight essential material. You can also ask the “Chat Now” bot questions that you are confused about.
18. How do I download or print handouts and study guides?
Click the double arrow (») in the upper-right corner of the handout viewer, then select the download or print icon. If you can’t find the file, check your Downloads folder or your browser’s settings.
19. I can’t find my downloaded handouts. Where are they?
Check your Downloads folder. On PCs: File Explorer → Downloads. On Mac: Finder → Downloads. On iPad: Files app → Browse → Downloads.
20. Where can I find the syllabus?
You’ll find the syllabus in the downloadable handouts section of the course.
21. What do I do if the instructor says “take a break” and the video freezes?
Click the “Close” button at the bottom left of the video player to move on. That moment just marks the end of a section.
22. How do I download my certificate after completing a class?
Log in, go to “Completed Courses,” select your class, and click the certificate icon to download a PDF. Certificates stay available for 6 months.
23. How do I know if I finished a class?
Log in and go to your Dashboard. Click the “Completed” tab. If the course is listed there, it’s done. If it’s under “Current,” click “Continue Course” to finish remaining sections.
24. Can I get one certificate for a full CE package?
No. Certificates are issued per individual class, not for full 22.5-credit packages. You'll get a certificate after completing each class.
25. Do I have to complete every part of a course to receive credit?
Yes. You must complete all videos, quizzes, and checkpoints. Skipping sections or partial completion will not earn you a certificate or credit.
26. How does Lieb School submit my CE credits to the NY DOS?
Lieb School submits your credit using the license info you entered during registration. It's your job to ensure it's accurate. You’re also responsible for renewing your license through
eAccessNY.
27. How long does it take for my credits to be reported?
We report your credits to the NY Department of State within 5–10 business days of course completion. You can renew your license immediately after completing all 22.5 credits and use your certificates as proof if you are audited.
28. Do I need to wait for credit to be submitted before renewing my license?
No. Once you complete your 22.5 hours, you can renew immediately through eAccessNY. If audited, use your downloaded certificates as proof.
29. What if I miss my CE deadline?
Lieb School is not responsible for CE compliance. It's your responsibility to complete all 22.5 hours before your license renewal date.
30. My courses aren’t showing on my broker or trade association website. Why?
Each organization has its own process. You must update your records with your broker, board, and NY Department of State.
31. How can I see which courses I’ve completed?
Log in, click your initials (top right), choose “Account,” then go to “Transcripts” and filter by “Passed.”
32. How do I access my certificate if I already completed a class?
Log in and click “Completed Courses.” Select the class, scroll down, and click “Certificate” to download.
33. Can I renew my real estate license if it’s expired?
Yes, if it's been expired for less than 2 years. If more than 2 years, you must retake the exam and reapply. CE is still required for renewal within 2 years.
34. What happens if I cheat or misrepresent my identity?
Lieb School may report cheating or misrepresentation to the NY Department of State as an act of untrustworthiness.
35. What are password checkpoints and how do they work?
These random prompts appear during videos to ensure you’re present. Type your login password when prompted to continue.
36. How do I update my contact info or email after switching brokerages?
Log in and update your account info under “My Account.” If you’re locked out, email
techsupport@liebschool.com with your old and new emails.
37. I signed up, but no class is showing. What should I do?

Renew your license through the
eAccessNY website. During renewal, confirm that you’ve completed all 22.5 CE credits by selecting “Yes” when prompted. Selecting “No” will require you to upload all course certificates. Retain your certificates in case of a license audit.
40. What format are Lieb School’s online classes, and how do I access them?
Classes are on-demand videos available 24/7. Log in to your account, select a class, and stream it at your own pace. You can pause or stop anytime and download your certificate upon completion.

Yes. Under §177.6 of NY’s Real Estate License Law, you can request an extension for hardship by submitting a written request with documentation, your renewal form, and the applicable fee to the Department of State before your license expires.

47. Does Lieb School offer pre-licensing classes for new agents?
No. Lieb School provides continuing education for currently licensed NY real estate brokers, associate brokers, and salespersons. We do not offer pre-licensing education.
48. What are the CE requirements for NY real estate agents?
You must complete 22.5 CE credits every two years. Required topics include:

Not during the same 2-year license cycle. You can only repeat a class if it was completed during a previous cycle. Many classes have updated content and titles but must be distinct to qualify for credit.
53. Does Lieb School offer a CE package that excludes Fair Housing?
Yes. If you’ve already taken a Fair Housing course elsewhere, we offer a 19.5-credit CE bundle with the remaining required and elective classes.
54. Can I build my own CE package?
Yes. Choose individual classes based on your needs, or get the All Access Pass for unlimited access to our course library and customize your own CE experience.

We offer a Required Topics Only Package for licensees who need to complete just the mandatory content. This is ideal if you've already earned some credits elsewhere.
60. What should I do if DOS says they don’t have my CE credits?
Make sure you selected “Yes” during your license renewal in
eAccessNY. If DOS still says you’re missing credits, download your certificates from your Lieb School account and send them directly to the DOS as proof.
